Set ruin guardian at starting level 1 ruins to 1 ghoul.

Also, minor path modifications in the West Island cities.

No problem, I agree that it should be equal in both starting spots.

Just note that there is still a 10% chance of a level 1 Pali not surviving.

Yes but you can't reach till turn 2 so if you buy a scout you will have UL 10 so will be 95% or if you start with scout/wizard/crusader can easily be 100% when you get there.
