Sanctions, for whom they are

USA and European countries will start a new round of sanctions soon and Russia will answer with pocket of new embargo which is already prepared. Whos will be with profit of this? European people became more often to think about this, and they more often think that the sanctions is a big mistake of the West.

I repost a thought of this that should be more sense to place here:

Sanctions is only a method by which US and his satellites try to press Russia. This way don't lead to regulating the situation on post-Ukrainian territory. As far as west will press, Russia will answer. This is impossible for Russians to lay down under the preassure. If many European countries are agree to forget of independent foreign policy for to adapt it to what US wish, Russia will keep independence lifelong. No country will dictate to Russia, it's impossible. That is why all western sanctions will strike only Europe (not USA, they don't depend on this)
There is one of Russian expats, Chichvarkin, who left Russia and is now living in London. He was called for interview on Bloomberg television, where he was asked about Ukraine. Chichvarkin said that there was a big mistake to start anti-Russian sanctions, they pushed all Russian people closer to Putin and all who was far from him started to believe him. After these unexpected words the leading of this tv-program changed the theme of talking.
If Europe think to use sanctions to stop the war between Ukraine and Novorossiya, she is on the wrong way.
It looks clear that for stopping this war need to stop shooting and start to speak.

I think that only way to stop this war is to start peaceful talking between Ukrainian leader and Novorossian leaders. And of course to stop all fire for this time and take all Ukrainian military out of Novorossiya. This way could lead to results good for both, Ukraine and Novorossiya.
Sanctions can be connected with this war only in thoughts of Western leaders. Russian government, Russian people and many independent specialists understand that duel sanctions-embargo leads Europe to nowhere.
Date when sanctions will be stopped is much connected with how much European leaders depend on US' will. US pressure on Europe is large enough but it doesn't look non-passable.

I can suppose why piranha still don't put here his thoughts while he put such a long text in a neighbour topic. Should be piranha has in mind the pro-american way to complete the war when all rebels and peaceful citizens in the east will be shooted with missiles and bombs and thus Kiev will occupy east. Hope it's not in his mind though.
Anyway fortunately rebels now remove the Kiev's military toward west. The farther to the west, the more safe for peaceful citizens in Luhansk and Donetsk.

You are right that it takes me a while to respond. With full-time job, my work on warbarons and family and 6 months daughter it’s hard to find enough time to be active in the forum.
It’s interesting to discuss politics but it’s taking too much time from my work on the game. To answer your question about my opinion.
I’m all for a peaceful solution and hope that it can take that direction. Worst would be if it leads to increased military action.
The sanctions war that appears to be increasing doesn’t look very promising either.
We have different opinion about whats happening and I’ll have to leave it there. No hard feelings from my side but I’m going to focus my time on the game and just read and not be active in any discussions.

Tomorrow two things may become more clear: new round of sanctions-embargo and agreement of peace between Ukraine and Novorossiya. Will be interesting to know what it will be.
