Shipwreck Ruins - Movement onto them

Has it always cost sea serpents 2 movements to go to a shipwreck ruin? Does it matter if the ruin is searched or not?

I guess I've never noticed this before, but in one of my games, i am shocked that it is costing 2 movement to go to a searched shipwreck ruin (was wanting my hero to hang out there until my next turn).

Yup, it's always cost 2 movement to move onto them regardless of whether they are searched or not.

That makes it consistent with sea units moving in cities, temples, land based ruins, swamps, rivers etc. In other words it only costs 1 move on open water.

P.S. Not really worth standing on a shipwreck ruin since you don't get the UL bonus to strength there like you do on land.
