NAP display bug?

Postby ptGamer » Wed Jul 11, 2012 9:47 pm

Gameid 26761

I cannot attack a player but my NAP screen shows the NAP is awaiting reply!?

I will keep it in my turn until I hear from the dev team. Thanks!

Not very kind of you trying to attack someone you are at the same time offering a truce. :)
This said, technically you cannot attack a player you're offering a truce but you can by-pass this by withdrawing your offer, doing your evil attack and issuing the NAP offer again.
Or is it the other way around, someone offering a truce to you? Same logic: reject the offer, attack and if you want to have this truce "on second thought", you can issue the NAP from your side after the attack and hope the other player rejects and counter-offers a truce and wants to give you all his cities and gold till the end of time. :)

Maze is correct. You need to cancel a proposed NAP before you can attack the player. Its not a bug and if you try to attack the player you should get a popup telling you that you cannot do so while in the "Waiting for reply"-status...

Ok thanks. Didn't know that's how it supposed to work.

To clarify, I have more integrity than that. I offered an NAP, asked for acceptance and got apparently a verbal agreement, then for two turns it keep showing I am awaiting reply. Not sure if it was already accepted so I tried to use a scout to check a taken look tower--not really trying to take out any units :)
