I see this once in a while as well. It seems at certain times the server or website becomes VERY busy and even moving a man on the map can cause me to get the 'waiting for server' screen. Hmm, maybe we should increase the timeout... It hinkwe wait for ~2 seconds or something right now before firing the connection lost popup. Maybe it should be increased...

I managed to replicate and find one bug that could cause outofsyncs while moving units back and forth over eachother in the same turn. Hopefully this is the same bug that you have experienced.

I've played 2 turns now in that game. Not a single outofsync. So it appears that fixed it for me at least.

I'm still seeing this bug from time to time ever since 0.8, not before.

edit -game 22951- just happened again

Actually I see it in all my games, and it is only on attack.

What happens, do you get outofsync message during your attack, or the game just freezes?
Do you have the grid enabled?
Does it happen for every attack you make, or just some of them?
Any special combination of moves before the attack etc? :-)

The games just freeze up, water stops animating, and have to f5 or reload to see the outcome of battle. Not every battle, and maybe 2 or three times a day. I do use the grid quite a bit, that could be a possibility, I'm not sure of anything else consistent with the freezes, possibly change of fight order. I will report back if I find anything.

The grid-bug has been fixed now, so let me know if you stopped getting these timeouts now also :-)

None of those freeze-ups today, so it looks like you've got it :) although it still hangs or freezes on end turn, every time for me (not as big of a deal compared to not getting to see the battle outcome.)

Thats good news then :-)

But freezeup during end turn doesnt sound so good.
Do you see some waiting animation when you hit end turn or do you get some popup?
What browser are you using?

Could you try to hit SAVE GAME under TURN menu, and see if that works or if that freezes as well?
