Production messed up in 0.8

Postby KGB » Fri Apr 27, 2012 10:34 pm

SnotlinG,

In the 3 player + AI game you started for myself, ChickenChaser and Benshort production is messed up on captured cities.

Both CC and I noticed that when we captured a city the next turn we didn't get any production in it. I captured another one this turn so I wait to see what happens next turn. CC noticed it first so lets see what he reports on his turn.

Note: Server seems really slow right now. Not sure if that's affecting anything.

Strange, I cant see any errors on a quick look.
After next capture, try a client refresh before you end turn and see if your production didnt take effect.
Let me know how it goes.

My production was turned off between turns, and no unit was produced at my newly captured city. It's "Thriktibolt" in the test game. There should be a dwarf there.

What LPhillips experienced is exactly what happened to CC and I

Same happened to me, production appears to be fine in Capitol but not in newly acquired castles.

Still messed up.

It seems that when you set production from the conquering screen it doesn't take. If you come back to the city it's fine. I captured 2 cities this turn and set production and ended my turn. Came back in and noticed the game had turned off production in both. I manually set it again. Then exited and re-entered and it took.

I'll wait to verify in the next round, but examination this round revealed 3 cities whose production had been disabled again.

You probably captured them before I fixed the bug... I hope :-)
