starting spot vs AI

i have a team game on world of midgard i started on Player 6 (Orange) spot

im trying to train on fastest possible expansion so i open AI 1v1 games

when i open games VS AI my starting spot alternates between Player 4 (Green) and Player 8 (Black)

how do i choose starting spot ?

The mapcreator decides what starting spots are available for the different setups (i.e. 1v1, 2v2 etc), and can also have several different setups for the same type (like 1v1). Then the starting positions are randomized between those valid ones. So you cant explicitly choose your startingposition (unless you play a scenario game, then the starting positions are always fixed as per the scenario setup)

Im afraid i dont know what you mean. We havent changed anything for the hosting lately.

if i open multiplayer i can choose "orange vs yellow " and play vs AI

i think you should move that option for single player games
