No eyeballs of KGB yet :shock: . As for absent graphics, F5 usually does the trick for me.

Boats can travel on rivers, yes, but it's not cheap. I believe it was 2 move cost for galley, 3 for djonk and 4 for the lvl3. Waterfalls are impossible except for for swimmers. 6 cost. Fords costs 7 / 5 with scout. Fords are expensive for boats and swimmers too, but not that expensive.

I like the new features. Was some small troubles at first, but now it's all as it should be. Random terrain function wasn't so good though. Only 20% or so changed from open. And gates etc can't be set alone, it has to be set on walls.

This didn't fix it for me. Merlon's Sturdy Ring (a +20) and Agrippa Balanced Ring (+10 both exhibit this problem of a number appearing on the mouse over with no icon to indicate what the power is.

This all seems perfectly reasonable to me.

In other cases I've had to delete my cookies, or log out and in as you have said.

There are some display errors with artifacts. Some shows incorrect (that +1 view 10%+ int has 15%, just that it doesn't show). Balanced ring has 1+ group move. Also, some artifacts look like one another. Webbed ring looks like sturdy ring. Portraits are mixed up too. Believe Pirahna and Snotling will fix it in no time.

Not sure I understand the question correctly :-)
But let me try to clarify:
Ships can travel in the river
Ships can travel over river Ford and river bridge tiles
Ships cannot travel on waterfall tile
Ships can travel on river docks tile
At a river docks tile ship can convert to land unit as per a standard dock
