Game freeze bug (look fast, before turn expires!)

In a game just now, I encountered a small bug: if there is 1 square between stack1 and city and that one square is occupied by stack2, it still sometimes is impossible to make the move. Nothing happens. It just stops. Refresh and everything is back to normal.

By "1 square", btw, I mean the one single square that the pathfinder chooses.

I have encountered this before and I'm pretty sure thar it's the same thing for 2 stacks etc.

Game:

Outlands, Kauhf, turn 30.

Location:

As far NW one can get without getting into the FOW.

Between two white cities, a 8 DK-stack and a 1 orc-stack.

Try to attack with orc and everything freezes.

Playing with chrome, but have encountered with Opera too.

(When clicking on a closed lake - no ports - with a land unit, it's almost the same thing.)

I tried now with a second orc, so there was 3 stacks in a row. Things also got fucked up. Seems like they can't walk through a 8-stack. If it was 7-stack, I believe one unit could come through. 6-stack = 2 units come thorugh.

Moving units back into position!

Negern,

This is a well known bug that has been reported several times. It's supposed to be fixed in 0.8.

Once I managed to attack through another stack. From the second stack, click the destination city/stack to set the move path. Then instead of double clicking to move, click the 'move' button (I might have clicked it several times repeatedly to encourage the game to do what I wanted. LOL). The game will hang as usual. However in my case when I refreshed the battle had taken place and I was able to view the battle results.

Ah, life is hard sometimes. I though I contributed to the world of Warbarons, but I understand now, how it feels to be that nowadays forgotten guy who worked on a theory of evolution but were slower than Darwin to finish it and get it published.

And it's all your fault, dammit! :cry:
