Phantom Units

In game 27205, my stack of 8 ghosts turned into a stack of 4 ghosts when sent against my enemy. This is obviously upsetting. I don't think the extra 4 ghosts were ever real in the first place, but either way I think it's worth a look. Maybe you have some logging to catch this stuff?

I won't move further until you give me the all-clear that you're done with the game :)

When/how did they go from 4 to 8?

They appear to "multiply". So I might give orders to them to ungroup and move to a location. Then, later, the game directs me back to them (as if they'd never been moved) and I move the duplicate set also. These non-existent units take up slots in stacks, count movement, and otherwise behave normally, but then vaporize when entering battle. This leaves you with a stack of 4 units where you thought you were using 8...

I have checked your game and you can continue with it. I dont think I can extract any more info from the game itself. However Im interested in the duplicate units.
- Do the multiplied units disapere if you hit F5? (probably they will)
- Do you have any idea how I could reproduce this issue? (seems to be some kind of out-of-sync bug to me, so would be nice if i could replicate it)

Yes, it's purely out-of-sync; they always disappear when the game is refreshed. Some real units also disappear when the game goes out of sync, and can't be seen/recovered until the game is refreshed, but you can play on as if nothing has happened.
