Scout

The scout is a specialist at moving in rough terrain. He can lead your armies through any terrain at move cost 3 and at 2 in desert. As a fighter he is weak but due to his bow he has anti air skill which is handy to take down spying crows. Scouts have undead lore skill which makes him a good help for heroes when searching ruins.
